Medieval CUE Splitter is a free tool that makes the extraction of tracks from big audio files a simple and easy task. The program works efficiently with both CUE and XMCD (freedb) formats, and will create perfect MP3, APE, FLAC, OGG, WAV and WMA audio files following the parameters specified in the CUE file. Unicode, UTF8, and ANSI CUE files are supported.
Medieval CUE Splitter (formerly known as Enfis The Paladin CUE Splitter) allows you to extract all or selected audio tracks from a single source file in one single operation. The program will extract the tracks in the same format as the file they come from, so no transcoding is done. All the information already included in the CUE file will be copied directly to the split tracks (it supports ID3v1, ID3v2, Lyrics, Vorbis Comment and APE tag files).
Hidden tracks and sub-indexes are not a problem for Medieval CUE Splitter, as long as they are correctly tagged in the CUE file. If gap information is present you can append it to the resulting tracks.
You can batch as many CUE and XMCD files as need and Medieval CUE Splitter will process them all in one go. It will even automatically create M3U and M3U8 playlists files for you.
